What is Mentoring?
Working with a mentor is a bit like having an experienced guide to help you on your business journey. They are not there to tell you what to do, but will offer encouragement and guidance, acting as a sounding board or ‘critical friend’, and helping you to find the answers to your business questions so you can make informed decisions. A mentor can bring benefits in the form of a fresh and objective point of view – helping you to see the wood from the trees.
Some of the most successful people in business have worked with a mentor at some point in their lives. Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, was mentored by Steve Jobs in the early stages of his business venture for example.
Rpinspire is here to match you with experienced local business owners who will listen to your business challenges and questions and share their expert knowledge and experiences with you, so that you can gain clarity on the next steps on your business journey.
We do this by facilitating 20 minute mentor – mentee meetings, held each month at Reigate and Banstead Town Hall between 5pm and 8pm. You can have as many mentor meetings as you have questions covering any type of business topic.
No question is too big, too small or even too general. You don’t know what you don’t know, so take advantage or this unique opportunity to tap into the wealth of business experience there is in the borough. Leave inspired, motivated and come back next month and do the same again.
This is intended to be bite sized mentoring. Of course, if you wish to continue the conversation outside of these meetings, that’s entirely up to you and the mentors.

Who are the rbinspire mentors?
rbinspire.net works with business mentors from a variety of sectors, businesses and background. They all have a wealth of business experience to share across many areas such as financial, people management, leadership, processes, marketing, business development. You will be matched with a mentor that most closely matches your needs. You might already know someone who you’d like to mentor you. Working through rbinspire.net could be a helpful way of formalising that relationship.
